Cliff Cadaver was born in 1962 in Los Angeles, California. Raised in Torrance, a suburb of LA, he was an overprotected and eccentric only child. He lived at the end of a cul-de-sac, in the shadow of massive electrical transformers.

In 1982 he co-founded The Droogs along with friend, Manuel Bagier. They formed a small group of punk rockers obsessed with the movie, A Clockwork Orange. They were the first people in Los Angeles to speak fluent nadsat and regularly dress in Top of Fashion.

He served a two year, traditional piercing apprenticeship under Crystal Cross in 1990. Opening Cliff Cadaver Body Piercing in Studio City in 1993, he remained at that location for thirteen years. He retired from the trade on New Year’s Eve, 2005.

In 2010, he graduated from the UCLA Certificate Writer’s Program, with honors. At present, Cliff Cadaver lives in the Angeles National Forest with his wife, Carol, and their menagerie of animals. He spends his days doing what he loves.
